Dimitra and Matteo met at Coleytown Elementary School. They spent those years with eyes for one another. But childhood “cool rules” kept them keeping their feelings to themselves. By the time high school rolled around, Matteo went to a boarding school while Dimitra kept her schooling in Westport. Time and life went on. In 2023, however, fate played its hand. Dimitra and her younger brother, Michael, were walking in downtown Westport. They walked into a store and saw someone who looked incredibly similar. The three of them began talking and realized it was none other than Matteo’s twin brother, Joe. After catching up and reminiscing, Joe invited Dimitra and Michael to the pop-up event he was having for his clothing brand. A couple months went by. Soon enough it was June 9th, 2023. Dimitra and Michael were mingling at Joe’s event when she turned around and locked eyes with a man she once knew. They both nodded at each other as Matteo slid threw the crowd, making his way to her. “I know you”,they both said. From then on, the rest of the world did not exist. It was only them. Now here they are, ready for forever and always.
